I dont want to run afoul of some anti cheating code and loose my account or be banned from steam because of a mouse clicker app.This subreddit is for us lovers of games that feature an incremental mechanism, such as unlocking progressively more powerful upgrades, or discovering new ways to play the game. I'm a major fan of this game and have already spent considerable money in just the 4 or so months since my friends introduced me to it. I'm not for cheating and or aim bots or other crap programs that just ruin a game but after reading some of the posts on this forum I'm a bit worried that I could get into trouble for using the clicker in my game play. It would be nice to know how this sort of play is considered by DE and other players who care to weigh in. I'm continuing to reach out to the other players who I'm playing with at the time so they dont feel left out or get upset if they have a problem with what I'm doing and im usually leading in the kills so I'm not being carried rather I'm usualy helping carry others to help them level their own gear. I'm using the clicker only to shoot the guns I have equipped at the time and not to spam any abilities. I feel as though I'm striking a good balance of using the clicker only on some missions that are already very simple or spammy anyway.

if I had to do that will full constant mouse and keyboard use all the time I'd have to give up WF as my hands wouldn't take it. But admittedly there is the grind aspect of the game. I love the game of WF it is soooo addictive for me on so many levels with the fast gameplay and multiple target acquisitions, playing with others. I'm not using the clicker to click stupid fast or let me shoot a gun faster or anything like that. Admittedly I have once or twice jumped up to use the bathroom for like less then a min while my WF was still shooting, but this isn't something I do a lot nor is it something I use to give me any sort of advantage over other players. I'm at my computer interacting or talking with other players who are with me usually asking them if they have any objection to my gameplay or style. I would really like to have a better understanding of DE's position on this. I'll turn the clicker on and off depending on the location of the critters in the game I'm shooting at but it allows me to level weapons and save the heavy movement and interactive play for when my hands are doing better. When I feel that coming on I usually will position my self in the mission somewhere safe and use the clicker to fire making tiny movements to my mouse or wasd keys mostly resting my hands by my side. I have flareups sometimes were the pinky, ring, and middle fingers in my hands will lockup and finger tips will start to tingle. I have ulnar nerve damage in both my hands from years working in IT and only later understanding what was going on and taking steps to change my posture and position while working. I have been using an auto clicker for quite some time to click the left or middle mouse button for me during some missions.
